Shape how strategy becomes outcomes across a fast-growing business. In this role, you will connect leaders and teams, create clarity in ambiguity, and elevate execution through strong governance, risk management, and stakeholder alignment.

As a Vice President, Strategic Program Manager in the Affluent Program Office, you will lead cross-functional strategic initiatives that advance Affluent priorities and deliver measurable business outcomes. You will partner with senior leaders to translate strategy into executable plans, establish operating rhythms, and ensure teams are aligned on decisions, dependencies, and accountability.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic programs, translating priorities into clear plans, milestones, and outcomes
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders by defining scope, roles, responsibilities, decision points, and dependencies
  • Establish and run program governance, including operating cadence, forums, status reporting, and escalation pathways
  • Identify, track, and resolve risks, issues, and interdependencies; escalate with clear options and recommendations
  • Build executive-ready communications that synthesize progress, trade-offs, and decisions into concise narratives
  • Coordinate across multiple workstreams to ensure consistent execution standards and timely delivery
  • Partner with leaders to define success metrics and monitor performance against business objectives
  • Facilitate planning cycles, prioritization discussions, and resource alignment to support delivery commitments
  • Improve program management practices by streamlining processes and strengthening transparency and accountability
  • Support change management by coordinating communications and adoption plans for key initiatives

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed environment
  • Demonstrated experience translating strategy into execution plans, governance, and measurable outcomes
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive accountability without direct authority
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level storytelling and concise synthesis
  • Experience building and running operating cadences, including status reporting and senior stakeholder forums
  • Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery trade-offs across multiple workstreams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to develop clear options and recommendations
  • Proficiency with common program management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience supporting strategy execution within consumer-facing, affluent/wealth-adjacent, or growth businesses
  • Experience working with senior executives and preparing materials for leadership reviews
  • Experience driving process improvement across program delivery and governance practices
  • Familiarity with agile and hybrid delivery methods in cross-functional environments
  • Experience defining and tracking key performance indicators to measure program impact
  • Experience coordinating change management for initiatives that affect multiple teams
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
