Key responsibilities

  • Own and grow a book of strategic partner accounts by increasing platform spend and identifying upsell opportunities.

  • Develop proactive account strategies that define partner priorities, revenue opportunities, risks, and next steps.

  • Build relationships across partner organizations and translate partner needs into actionable recommendations to drive adoption and revenue.

Job description

The digital advertising landscape is shifting from manual service models to sophisticated, product-led growth. We are looking for a Partner Manager to serve as a strategic commercial lead for some of StackAdapt's most important technology, channel, reseller, and API-driven partnerships.

You will own and grow an existing book of partner business, helping companies that are building or scaling advertising businesses with StackAdapt as a core technology partner. You'll be responsible for identifying revenue opportunities, building account strategies, expanding stakeholder relationships, and translating partner needs into clear commercial action.

This role sits within our Strategic Partnerships & Alliances (SP&A) team, a high-growth engine that has matured into a cornerstone of our global revenue strategy. You will report to the Director of Strategic Partnerships and work closely with Business Development, Account Management, Product, Data Partnerships, Solutions, and Client Services to grow partner spend across North America.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Own and grow a book of strategic partner accounts, with a focus on increasing platform spend, identifying upsell opportunities, and building durable partner growth plans.
  • Develop proactive account strategies that clearly define partner priorities, revenue opportunities, risks, key stakeholders, and next steps.
  • Build relationships across partner organizations, including Sales, Product, Operations, Marketing, and executive stakeholders, to uncover new ways StackAdapt can support their business.
  • Partner closely with Business Development on account handoffs once partners are contracted, launched, and ready to scale.
  • Help partners productize StackAdapt capabilities across white-label, reseller, API, and managed-service models.
  • Translate partner goals, technical workflows, and business challenges into actionable recommendations that drive adoption, campaign growth, and long-term revenue.
  • Use Salesforce consistently to maintain accurate pipeline, forecast revenue, track opportunities, and create visibility into what is being actively driven.
  • Leverage StackAdapt's platform, AI tools, Ivy, and other internal resources to automate workflows, uncover insights, and move faster across a diverse book of business.
  • Navigate ambiguity, context-switch across different verticals and partnership models, and build structure where the path forward is not already defined.
  • Act as a strategic internal voice for partners by surfacing product feedback, operational blockers, and market opportunities to cross-functional teams.
What You'll Bring to the Table:
  • 3-5+ years of experience in programmatic advertising, ad tech, digital media, partnerships, account management, client strategy, or enterprise sales.
  • Strong understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, ideally with hands-on DSP, SSP, ad network, reseller, channel, API, or platform partnership experience.
  • A commercial mindset and proven ability to grow existing accounts through proactive upselling, stakeholder expansion, and strategic account planning.
  • Comfort working with technical products and integrations. You do not need to write code, but you should be able to understand technical workflows, ask strong questions, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to lead strategic conversations with senior client stakeholders.
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage a varied book of business across multiple verticals.
  • High ownership, curiosity, and follow-through. You should be someone who sees white space, builds a plan, and drives the work forward without waiting to be told where to jump in.
  • Experience using Salesforce or another CRM to manage pipeline, forecast revenue, and create clear account visibility.
  • Comfort using AI tools to improve productivity, synthesize data, automate manual work, and generate sharper client insights.
  • Previous experience as a power user of a Demand-Side Platform is a significant advantage.
