The CRE will drive demand-generation through the depth and breadth of relationships at designated clients, leading to net-new value and growth for Deloitte.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Deloitte account leadership team to define relationship strategy and overall revenue growth goals
  • Build and own relationships with key executives and decision-makers at all levels
  • Execute against relationship strategies to drive new revenue opportunities that meet and exceed account growth objectives
  • Identify Deloitte offerings and solutions that should be positioned with the client based on client's strategic direction
  • Identify and pursue new ("greenfield" and "white space") opportunities, leveraging personal, professional, and firm networks
  • Represent "voice of customer" and deep industry knowledge to advise account pursuit teams on winning sales and positioning strategies related to opportunity development, proposal execution, and deal closure
  • Collaborate and team across industries and sectors and with Lead Client Service Partners and others to drive growth
  • Be a "market sensor" to Deloitte industry and account leadership-providing proactive feedback on market shifts, competitive insights and "voice of the customer"
  • Understand client's buying processes and budget cycle, as well as the client's business and strategic priorities to help shape account growth strategy
  • Connecting Deloitte capabilities and assets to client strategy, challenges and executive priorities
  • Contribute client and industry knowledge to development of account strategy and proactively understand relevant case studies and offerings

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of professional experience
  • 5 years minimum experience in Energy, Resources & Industrials sectors
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Ability to travel up to 40%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: MBA
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years' experience as a relationship and/or business development professional serving diversified Energy and Industrials companies.
  • Strong professional services sales execution and management knowledge and experience
  • Proven track record in selling and/or delivering consulting, tax and advisory services to diversified Energy and Industrials companies
  • Demonstrable relationship building experience in the Sector, which increased account penetration and led to increased revenue opportunities with new and existing clients-as well as ability to leverage pre-existing network of clients or contacts in the marketplace
  • Working knowledge of competitive and potential alliance/partner landscape; proven ability and success influencing and leading cross-functional global teams
  • Success in playing a leading role within a global, matrixed account team framework (i.e., working effectively with our Lead Client Service Partners, Service Line/Industry leaders, account practitioners, and other business development professionals within the firm)
  • Help define and drive an alliance strategy that positively positions Deloitte for net new business

 The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $151,400 to $278,900.
