Job description

Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.
The Lifecycle Collaboration Software (LCS) organization is responsible for best-in-class products such as Teamcenter, Capital, and Polarion. As part of our Business Operations team, you'll operate as both an external relationship leader and an internal business partner, with the opportunity to influence portfolio strategy.
We are seeking a highly collaborative and results-oriented Partner Manager to build, grow, and scale strategic partnerships across the software and technology ecosystem. This multifaceted role will include elements of partner management, project management, and business analysis. The ideal candidate combines strong relationship management and commercial judgment with enough technical fluency to understand software products, integrations, APIs, and customer use cases. You will work closely with internal business line leaders and operational teams, as well as finance and go-to-market business partners.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary business contact for a portfolio of technology and software partners
  • Liaise with Legal in developing and updating contracts
  • Liaise with Finance to monitor royalties
  • Work with business line leaders to develop and communicate a clear partnership strategy across Teamcenter, Polarion, and Capital products, considering market trends, customer needs, and Siemens' business goals
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to understand product interoperability, partner integrations, APIs, technical dependencies, product roadmaps, and opportunities to create differentiated customer value
  • Lead partners from identification and business case development through onboarding, launch, enablement, growth, and ongoing performance management
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to support business cases, prioritization decisions, partner negotiations, and strategic recommendations
  • Support monthly calls with sales regions to collect feedback on product performance and customer experience

Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States. Qualified Applicants will not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States
Qualifications:
  • Relevant professional experience with 10+ years working within software development or product management organization, preferably with experience in PLM, ALM, or System Engineering
  • University Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
  • A strong business-oriented mindset with experience leading complex, cross-functional projects or programs involving multiple teams, dependencies, and competing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with stakeholders and influence decisions through sound logic, data, and analysis
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment and influence stakeholders and drive outcomes without direct authority
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience presenting insights and working effectively across functions and stakeholder groups
  • Translate between business and technical stakeholders, ensuring objectives, requirements, constraints, and decisions are clearly understood
  • Familiarity with Teamcenter, Capital, or Polarion strongly preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of English; both verbal and written

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
  • Experience with implementation of partner technology
  • Significant success in leveraging partnerships to reach business goals
  • Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management market trends and customer needs
  • Prior experience working directly with Product Lifecycle Management customers

Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements:
  • Office based with potential for remote or hybrid arrangements
  • Minimal travel required (0-5% of time)
