In this role, you'll drive the growth of our SMB partner ecosystem by building strategic technology partnerships, launching go-to-market initiatives, and creating seamless partner experiences. Working across product, sales, marketing, and operations, you'll help expand the reach of Genius POS, deliver value for customers, and support Global Payments' mission to help businesses grow through innovative commerce and technology solutions.

What you'll own

  • Own and grow the SMB Retail and Restaurant partner ecosystem, identifying strategic opportunities that expand the Genius POS platform and drive business growth.
  • Build and manage strategic partner relationships, developing joint business plans, success metrics, and growth initiatives that deliver long-term value for partners and Global Payments.
  • Lead partners from onboarding through launch and ongoing success, ensuring a seamless experience and strong commercial outcomes across the partner lifecycle.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across product, technical integrations, sales, marketing, operations, and customer success teams to deliver successful integrations, launches, and partner outcomes.
  • Champion operational excellence, creating scalable processes, performance metrics, and best practices that improve partner experience and support ecosystem growth.
  • Partner with sales and commercialization teams to accelerate go-to-market success, increasing partner adoption, pipeline generation, and revenue opportunities.
  • Remove barriers and drive execution, proactively managing partner priorities, timelines, and business milestones to ensure successful launches and lasting business impact.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, partner management, business development, channel programs, account management, or customer success.
  • Experience managing technology partnerships, ISVs, SaaS platforms, integrations, or partner ecosystems.
  • Experience managing business relationships throughout the partner lifecycle, including onboarding, enablement, integration coordination, go-to-market planning, and ongoing partner management.
  • Strong project and program management skills with the ability to manage multiple partner initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across Product, Technical Integrations, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Support, and Operations.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills with the ability to manage partner expectations, timelines, and competing business priorities.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, operational execution, and process improvement.

  • Experience managing SMB technology partner ecosystems.
  • Experience within restaurant technology, hospitality technology, retail technology, POS, payments, or SaaS platforms.
  • Experience supporting API, integration, or platform partnerships.
