Overview

The Senior Strategic Partner role at MSQ DX is a key position that helps us foster trusted, long-term partnerships with our clients. In this role, you'll oversee all client deliverables, drive account growth, set the strategic direction and vision, and develop provocative ideas that inspire both our team and clients. You'll be actively collaborating with our clients and project teams to ensure that expectations and business needs are met successfully. We're looking for candidates with a strong digital background, a knack for technology, and a consultative approach to problem-solving.
While this is a remote position, we do expect some in-office days to connect and collaborate.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide short- and long-term strategic counsel and overall fiscal responsibility for the account as the primary client contact
  • Serve as the friendly liaison between the client and agency to ensure expectations are smoothly managed on both sides
  • Manage multiple client contacts, internal resources, and workstreams with ease
  • Fully immerse yourself in understanding the client's business and industry to better serve their needs
  • Establish a trusted, positive relationship with the primary client contacts
  • Assist with proposal responses and presentation development for exciting new business opportunities
  • Prepare and maintain documentation and account information - e.g., statements of work, master services agreements, and contact information for invoicing, etc.
  • Take the initiative in creating fresh ideas, processes, and techniques that add value to the account
  • Assist in developing and managing budgets to meet desired profitability margins and success criteria for each initiative
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., UX, design, development, strategy) to ensure delivery aligns with client goals and best technological practices
  • Proactively identify opportunities for client growth and evolve strategic roadmaps in collaboration with our talented internal teams
  • Lead quarterly and annual planning sessions with clients to set and track against their business objectives

Skills & Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in account services
  • Experience working in an agency environment
  • Excellent writing, listening, and verbal skills
  • Proven ability to manage and grow profitable accounts
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to drive consensus
  • Understanding of digital engagements across web, mobile, and social platforms
