Strategic Operations ManagerAbout Admiral

Admiral is a small, core team of talented people obsessed with making the ownership experience better for boaters. Our intent is to take the best possible experience, which today only superyacht owners can afford, and democratize it to the 30-70 foot owner operator community. The same service, attention and ease, at a fiftieth of the cost.

Today, we work with the world's leading marina operators, communities and brands to deliver a high-touch, modern experience to thousands of boat owners. Every boater needs help, and we're rapidly scaling to new markets and marinas, and we're just getting started!

Our Founding team has helped build companies like Uber, OpenAI, Bloomberg, Amazon. We're laser-focused on creating an exceptional marketplace, service experience, team, and place to work. And, we're continuously in search of strong talent and experience to help us get there.

We have some ambitious growth goals this year, and the ideal person sees this as an opportunity to grow with the company while helping level-up everyone else around them. If this sounds exciting to you, reach out!

About the Role

We are looking for a Strategic Operations Manager to lead and optimize the daily operations of our business. This role combines leadership, process improvement, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance the overall customer experience and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, has a strong analytical mindset, and is passionate about problem-solving.

What You'll Do

Own: Manage the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient and safe processes. Take responsibility for overall performance and operational health.

Strategize: Design and implement process improvement initiatives that drive operational efficiencies, enhance employee experience, and streamline site processes.

Delight Customers: Partner with cross-functional central teams to provide an exceptional customer experience. Ensure your teams are equipped with the necessary tools, resources, and support to achieve outstanding service on every order.

Analyze and Optimize: Use data-driven decision-making to identify trends, solve problems, and recommend improvements. Analytical skills will be critical to making impactful changes.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in Operations, Consulting, Strategy, or related fields.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with SQL.
  • Proven ability to solve problems from first principles, with a creative and innovative mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a startup environment with rapid changes and ambiguity.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of handling both strategic planning and day-to-day operational tasks.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree (4-year college degree required).
  • Located within a commutable distance to our Fort Lauderdale office (expectation of 4 days per week on site)
Why Admiral?

We're Shaking Up the Boating Space. Our goal is to transform the modern ownership experience of boat owners across the world through efficient ops, convenient tech, and incredible vendor experiences; paving the way for a multi-billion dollar marketplace. Every boater needs Admiral. With the force of our core team, dozens of top brands and hundreds of happy boaters, we're only scratching the surface.

We're Growing Fast. Last year we grew revenue over 10X—and no, that's not a typo! We're still a small, dynamic team, and this is your chance to join at the ground floor to help us build something really special.

We're in Good Company. We have solidified strategic relationships with brands with some of the world's leading brands from manufacturers, to marine insurance, to marina operators. They too want to see the boat ownership experience transform to our vision, and have directly supported us in the progress we've made in our early markets.

We All Own What We're Building. Everyone who works at Admiral will be a part of the ownership structure via equity compensation. We want you to own the company, and treat this like it's yours… because it is!
