Job Description:
The Strategic Operations Manager will support the Arizona Urology Operations team through data-driven analysis, project management, and execution of strategic initiatives. This role serves as a key partner to operational and clinical leaders, helping translate strategy into action across practice operations, integrations, and service line growth initiatives.
The Strategic Operations Manager will work cross-functionally with strategic finance, FP&A, marketing, legal, and clinical teams to support operational efficiency, standardization, and sustainable growth across the Arizona market.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Strategic & Analytical Support:
• Analyze operational, financial, and growth data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities within the Arizona market
• Support development of business cases, proformas, and ROI analyses for new initiatives, service line expansions, and operational improvements
• Prepare executive-ready materials including presentations, dashboards, and summaries for practice leadership and physicians
• Conduct market, competitor, and service line research to inform decision-making
• Project Management & Execution
• Lead and support cross-functional projects from planning through execution, ensuring clear timelines, ownership, and accountability
• Coordinate internal teams, practice leaders, and external partners to align deliverables and expectations
• Track project status, risks, and dependencies using project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, SharePoint, Excel)
• Proactively identify issues and develop solutions to keep initiatives on track
Operations & Integrations Support:
• Support onboarding and integration of new practices, service lines, or operational initiatives within the Arizona market
• Assist with executing integration playbooks across operations, finance, legal, technology, and clinical workflows
• Serve as a local operational partner during transitions, helping guide teams through change management and standardization
• Partner with operations leadership on workflow optimization, process improvement, and margin initiatives
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with strategic finance, FP&A, finance, marketing, analytics, and integration teams to support coordinated execution
• Participate in market leadership and planning meetings, providing insights and recommendations
• Build strong working relationships with physicians, practice leaders, and internal stakeholders
Key Competencies:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear action steps
• Proven project management skills and comfort managing multiple initiatives at once
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting to leadership and physicians

Qualification:
• Bachelor's degree required, MBA, MHA, or similar preferred
• 3-5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, consulting, corporate strategy, project management, or related roles
• Experience working with physician practices, healthcare providers, or health systems strongly preferred
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools
• Experience in oncology, urology, or ancillary services a plus
