Intelligence Analyst (Analyst III)
Location: Onsite - Phoenix, Arizona
Division: Embedded Intelligence Services (EIS)
Schedule: Full-time: 7-3 Business Hours, Monday-Friday
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Intelligence Analyst with deep expertise in global intelligence, threat assessment, and enterprise risk management to support a major embedded client engagement. The ideal candidate will bring at least five (5) years of intelligence experience, advanced analytical tradecraft, and demonstrated success operating in complex, client-facing environments. This individual will serve as a senior member of the embedded team, providing strategic insight, mentoring junior analysts, and delivering high-impact intelligence products aligned to executive and operational decision-making. Occasional travel and after-hours support may be required.
Position Overview
Reporting to the EIS Intelligence Manager and working closely with client leadership, the Intelligence Analyst will support the Security Operations Center (SOC) activities for a client. The analyst will integrate geopolitical, protective, and security intelligence into decision workflows by providing forward-looking, actionable insights that mitigate risk to personnel, assets, operations, supply chain continuity, and reputation. This role requires strong independent judgment, the ability to manage complex intelligence requirements, and the capability to guide analytical standards across the team while maintaining a collaborative, non-managerial posture within the client environment.
What You Will Work On
Strategic Intelligence Analysis
Conduct anticipatory geopolitical, security, and protective intelligence analysis aligned to client priorities. Deliver tailored intelligence products, including horizon scanning reports, scenario forecasts, executive SITREPs, and impact assessments. Integrate global monitoring into risk decision workflows, identifying both threats and emerging opportunities.
Protective & Security Intelligence
Lead open-source, deep web, and social media monitoring to identify and assess threats to executives and enterprise leadership. Conduct Persons of Interest (POI) investigations, threat actor assessments, executive vulnerability reviews, and due diligence reports. Produce travel threat assessments, route assessments, event security assessments, and site-specific risk evaluations.
Operational Support & Incident Response
Monitor global events in real time and assess operational impact. Support crisis response and emergency incident management in accordance with established best practices and client SOPs. Triage client intelligence requests and deliver timely, decision-ready analysis.
Collaboration & Advisory Support
Serve as a strategic intelligence partner within the SOC environment, aligning intelligence priorities with organizational objectives. Liaise with client stakeholders to understand operational footprint, evolving risks, and intelligence requirements. Mentor analysts in research methodology, structured analytic techniques, writing standards, and briefing delivery. Contribute to continuous improvement of workflows, intelligence products, and playbooks. Support tracking of production metrics and program performance.
Additional Support
Provide ad hoc briefings, executive support, and special analytical projects as required.
What You Will Bring
Education
Bachelor's degree required.
Experience
5+ years of experience in intelligence analysis, geopolitical risk, protective intelligence, incident response, or enterprise security. Experience supporting senior stakeholders in a corporate, government, or consulting environment. Demonstrated experience mentoring analysts and leading complex analytical projects.
Skills & Qualifications
Advanced knowledge of the intelligence cycle and structured analytic techniques. Strong expertise in OSINT collection, global risk monitoring, and investigative methodologies. Exceptional analytic writing and executive briefing skills. Experience producing strategic intelligence products for senior decision-makers. Familiarity with intelligence and risk management platforms (e.g., Crisis24, Everbridge, Dataminr, Ontic, etc.). High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and mapping/visualization tools (Google Earth, GIS platforms). Strong client engagement skills and ability to manage expectations in high-stakes environments. Ability to operate independently, prioritize competing demands, and maintain quality under pressure. Foreign language proficiency and international experience are advantageous.
Additional Requirements
Must work onsite in Phoenix, Arizona. Flexibility to support 24/7 mission requirements, including occasional evening or weekend coverage. Occasional travel may be required. Successful completion of background check and writing/technical aptitude assessments required.
Important Note About This Position
This position focuses on geopolitical risk, global threat intelligence, and monitoring events that could disrupt client operations, including political, economic, social, and security factors, as well as natural events such as severe weather and other disasters. The role emphasizes qualitative research, investigative analysis, and intelligence reporting rather than technical, IT, cybersecurity, data analytics, or business intelligence functions. Potential applicants with primary experience in technical or data-centric fields should carefully consider whether this role aligns with their background.
Information Security
  • Protect the data and systems of Crisis24 and its stakeholders by adhering to policies, reporting incidents and potential problems, completing regular training, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
