 A day in the life: 

As the Sr. Director, AI Innovation, you will define the long-term AI (Artificial Intelligence) vision, drive enterprise-wide transformation through high-impact, high-visibility AI initiatives. Oversee the strategy, development, and execution of breakthrough AI solutions across all business functions while also owning AI upskilling and cultural adoption across the company. Partner closely with executive leadership to ensure AI accelerates growth, enhance productivity, and position Monster as an industry leader in responsible and innovative AI adoption.

The impact you'll make:
  • Define & Lead Monster's AI Vision -- Establish a bold, long-term AI strategy that aligns with enterprise goals, identifying major opportunities to transform revenue, operations, marketing, supply chain, finance, HR, and customer engagement.
  • Drive High-Impact AI Initiatives ("Big Swings") -- Lead the conception and delivery of breakthrough AI programs (new platforms, AI-powered experiences, automation
  • Build & Oversee the Enterprise AI Roadmap -- Prioritize projects, allocate resources, manage budgets, and oversee multi-year transformation plans across business units and technical teams.
  •  Lead AI Education, Upskilling & Cultural Change -- Own the organizational learning strategy for AI literacy, offering executive training, broad employee education, role-specific training tracks, and a consistent internal AI curriculum.
  • Establish Enterprise AI Governance & Risk Standards -- Partner with Legal, Security, and Compliance to ensure responsible AI use; oversee policies for privacy, fairness, transparency, and model lifecycle governance.
  • Build & Lead an AI Innovation Team -- Recruit, develop, and lead a cross-functional AI leadership group (engineering, data science, MLOps, automation, SWAT teams). Implement workforce planning and organizational design.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Partnerships -- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal/HR, Operations, Supply Chain, and IT to understand pain points and architect AI solutions that deliver measurable value.
  •  Represent Monster Externally -- Act as a public-facing AI leader for Monster - speaking at conferences, participating in partner discussions, shaping strategic vendor relationships, and monitoring external AI trends.
  • Measure Impact & Communicate Results -- Establish key project indicators (KPI) frameworks for AI adoption, productivity gains, cost reductions, and innovation velocity; provide regular reports to the executive team and board.
 Who you are:
  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Business, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Data Science, or related fields. Master's or MBA preferred
  • More than 10 years of experience in AI/ML/Automation strategy
  •  Between 3-5 years of experience in leading enterprise AI initiatives
  • Familiarity with modern AI platforms (Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, OpenAI, Google Vertex, etc.)
  • Understanding of model architectures, AI agents, orchestration frameworks. Comfortable guiding technical conversations even without hands-on coding requirements.
  • Preferred Certifications: Executive certifications in AI Leadership (MIT, Stanford, etc.)
  • Azure AI or other enterprise AI technology certifications helpful
  • Organizational leadership or innovation strategy credentials
  • Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Strong collaboration skills with data engineering, governance, security, and AI product teams; ability to convert business concepts into semantic datasets and AI features
