Position Summary & Responsibilities

SIG is seeking seasoned professionals with multiple years of college or university experience developing and deploying business intelligence solutions based on the Ellucian Banner® reporting tools.   • Develop business intelligence strategies in collaboration with college and university clients
  • Perform implementation services such as training, functional consulting and technical support at client sites
  • Develop and deploy business intelligence solutions based on the Ellucian Banner® reporting tools including: Argos, Cognos, Operational Data Store (ODS) and the Banner® Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)

Required Qualifications

  • Strong SQL proficiency with experience in Oracle Database and PostgreSQL
  • Ellucian Banner experience
  • Experience working with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) in complex data environments
  • Hands-on experience building dashboards and reporting in BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Ellucian Argos, or IBM Cognos Analytics
  • Experience working within higher education environments
  • Proven ability to lead requirements gathering, business analysis, and technical documentation
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of data modelling, star schema, data warehouse best practices
