Job description

Storefront Manager will coordinate and perform all necessary functions to establish and maintain adequate stock and supply levels, oversee the warehouse, ensure successful and timely deliveries to the shops and manage the on-site staff. This individual will act as a liaison with the contractor’s procurement and customer support operation. Minimum Education: Associate degree in a related field from an accredited college or university. Minimum Experience: Ten (10) years of experience performing relevant management duties including overseeing material deliveries, managing material stock levels, managing staff members, and providing customer relations support.

  • Inventory Management
    • Maintain adequate stock and supply levels for line items
    • Work with customers to ensure all items required are stocked
    • Monitor slow moving items to reduce inventory carrying cost and physical footprint - Deplete or remove from inventory, identify obsolete items and research replacement items
  • Customer Relations and Service
    • Address customer issues, concerns, feedback, returns or material discrepancies
  • Expedite material for timely delivery, change orders, conduct supplier physical inventory, manage supplier web reports, accounts payable, price and product modifications
  • Manage supplier relations and inventory arrangements. Currently there are approx.
  • Works collectively with the Pentagon
    • Provides a monthly report of sales, which includes total sales, item count, issues, receipts, NIS
    • Resolves system Interface issues and supplier billing discrepancies.
  • Lead the team of Material Team Members
    • Ensure each team member is trained to perform daily duties
    • Ensure team members are trained and certified to use all material handling equipment (MHE)
    • Ensure a high level of customer support and readiness. Team member must be efficient in their daily activities –
      • Material must be inspected, labeled and stocked properly
      • Customer orders are issued out in a timely manner
      • Provide guidance to employees on product knowledge
      • Manage professional supplier relations and top-level customer service
      • Make sure safety procedures are followed; daily functions are prioritized, and employees are crossed trained
  • Requirements:
    • Associates degree and 2-4 years of related experience
    • Experienced in Supplier and Customer Relations, Cost Negotiations, Inventory and Supply Chain Management
    • Supervise the activities of Buyer and Material Team Members, responsible for hiring, organizing and training staff, developing and implementing systems and procedures
    • Corporate level Ethics Training
    • Attain a Government Security Clearance
    • Pass an ASRC’s background check and drug test
