Position Overview:

We are seeking Store Sales Associates at the Brown Jug Tudor Store (213) located at 3561 E Tudor Rd and in various locations throughout Anchorage and Eagle River....

Brown Jug is a premium retailer of wine, beer, and spirits. We offer a great place to work, with a friendly atmosphere and energetic work environment. We provide our customers with convenience, selection, and top-notch service!

Each person on our team plays an important role in our company’s success. We promote a team atmosphere that is busy and challenging, but always aims to be co-operative and fun. When you choose to work with us you can be sure you will be treated with the respect and support you need to be a success. We are seeking Store Sales Associates in various locations throughout Anchorage and Eagle River.

As a Store Sales Associate, you will be expected to provide great customer service to every person who walks into our store, process customer transactions at the register, participate in stocking and merchandising of store and ensure that the store is clean and organized.

Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

  • Deliver great customer service
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
  • Complete customer transactions on the Point-of-Sale (POS) device, including payment
  • Assist customer from store and/or offer car service when appropriate
  • Stock shelves and cooler with product
  • Help keep the store clean and organized
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Have or obtain an Alcohol Server Card (we’ll tell you how to get one, it’s easy!)
  • High School diploma or equivalent (preferred, not required)
  • First-Aid Certificate is considered an asset but not required
  • Training or passion for wine/beer/spirits is a huge plus!

Physical Requirements:

  • Available to work a varied retail schedule, including evening and weekends
  • Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds
  • Able to stand for an extended period
