Fabrication Technician.
Pay: $22โ€“$26/hour.
Schedule:
  • Sunday-Wednesday - 3:30 pm-2:00 am ($4.00 differential).
  • Wednesday- Saturday- 3:30 pm- 2:00 am ($4.00 differential).
  • Friday-Sunday- 6:00 am 6:30 pm (12% differential).
  • Monday-Thursday - 3:30 pm- 2:00 am ($2.00 differential).
  • Sunday- Thursday- 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm ($4.00 differential).

About the Role:
Job Store Staffing is hiring a Fabrication Technician I for a local manufacturing facility in Boulder! This position is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, attention to detail, and learning new skills in a high-tech production environment.
As a Fabrication Technician, youโ€™ll work with a team to produce precision optical components following detailed specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform optical fabrication processes including beveling, blocking, edging, milling, sawing, and grinding.
  • Operate equipment to shape and finish components within tight tolerances (up to .001โ€).
  • Inspect and clean parts to maintain quality standards.
  • Read and interpret work instructions and blueprints.
  • Use precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, comparators, and microscopes.
  • Assist with general production tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and math skills.
  • Ability to follow written instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
