Job description

We are looking for a motivated and career minded individual to join my Franchise as a Sales Assistant.  As a Sales Assistant you will learn all aspects of running a Snap-on business and help with day-to-day operations of the Snap-on franchise - from organizing, stocking shelves, to selling and repairing tools.

This Sales Assistant position is a gateway opportunity to Franchisee ownership. Our goal is for you to become a Snap-on Franchisee, with your own sales assistant.

Key Tasks:
•    Assist in achieving sales goals to increase revenue leveraging product offerings, and executing special project sales of new product and equipment items. 
•    Assist in management of store operation to meet sales and profit targets
•    Assist in maintaining customer relationships and accountability for sales and collections.
•    Accountability for Franchise assets in the form of cash and inventory 
•    Assist in operation of store in compliance with the Snap-on program.
•    Rotate and stocking inventory, and repairing broken tools, as needed
•    Watch for loss prevention issues and notify management of any unusual activities.
•    Maintain mobile store in pristine condition, as it serves as a showcase for the Snap-on franchise.
•    Interact with other Franchisee’s, and Snap-on managers, to ensure coordination of programs and policies, and implement best practices.
•    Minimum 40 hours per week.  

Qualifications:
•    Valid driver’s license.  Ability to drive 16-20’ vehicle 
•    Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently (below shoulder height), and more than 50 pounds occasionally (using available lifting device).
•    Computer proficiency
•    Ability to complete/attend Snap-on training programs
