We are seeking a Merchandising Manager to join our team (Monday-Friday, day shift).The Merchandising Manager is responsible for leading the merchandising team to ensure that Knoxville Beverage's products are available and supported by point-of-sale materials in customer accounts.
Duties include:
• Manage the selection, development, and retention of merchandising staff
• Develop the daily schedule for merchandising team
• Collaborate with chain and independent retail divisions about customer accounts
• Investigate and resolve external complaints and requests
• Manage point of sale materials inventory and ensure accurate information is available to internal stakeholders
• Communicate with graphic designers to request printed material
• Maintain a strong customer service relationship with KBC customers
• Ensure safety requirements as it relates to equipment and staff
• Provide brand-specific product education and training tools to enhance the knowledge and performance of staff
• Monitor driving reports and analyze data as needed
• Build, install, and maintain in-store displays and racks for the chain and independent retail division
• Install vinyl graphics on windows and storefronts
• Hang or mount items on walls or from ceilings
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Three years of management experience in beverage industry or similar field
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to lift and stack cases averaging 40 lbs. each
• Ability to climb ladders and use basic hand tools for assembling or mounting
• Ability to obtain State of Tennessee ABC Wholesalers Employee permit
• Valid driver's license with ability to meet company driving history requirements
• Drug and background checks required
