Job description

Job Overview
SK Pool's is seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager (SM) to oversee the day-to-day operations of one of our retail locations. As a Store Manager, you will ensure the store meets or exceeds customer service expectations, sales targets, and operational standards. You will lead by example, train and develop your team, and maintain a positive and welcoming store environment for both customers and employees.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Regional Manager to learn and implement best practices in store operations, including sales strategies, profit margins, payroll, and expense management (P&L).
  • Perform water testing and mechanical repairs as needed.
  • Drive growth in both commercial and residential sales and increase overall customer traffic.
  • Ensure the team follows all company and safety protocols.
  • Recruit, train, and retain top talent to support the store's success.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for customers.
  • Oversee merchandising efforts and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Responsible for store opening and closing duties, including making daily bank deposits.

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED (or currently enrolled in high school)
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service or retail
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing and leading a team
  • Proven ability to be placed in a succession or leadership development program
  • Strong communication skills and computer proficiency
  • At least 5 years of experience in the pool industry
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
