We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Store Design Project Manager I based in our Baldwin Park, CA Real Estate office. The Store Design Project Manager reports directly to the Department Manager of Store Design, and is responsible for individual project management of the architectural and design related aspects of projects with new store development and construction teams.
General Responsibilities
• Monitor assigned projects as often as possible by maintaining personal contact, as well as written contact with the New Construction and Architectural Design teams
• Stay updated on specific details and scope of work regarding any given project; develop and maintain comprehensive tracking schedules
• Continuously monitor weekly activity reports, scope and timelines; while identifying key milestones and critical path activities
• Maintain detailed project schedules to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget
• Review projects from the construction documents phase to construction administration phase for adherence to design intent, drawing accuracy, and current prototype changes
• Prepare detailed site plans and conceptual drawings for feasibility studies and entitlement packages, using AutoCAD and other advanced design software tools
• Monitor prototype changes to assure current projects are up to date in an expedient manner
• Maintain a strong focus on quality control and ensure that design adheres to company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with specifications
• Establish clear communication channels between teams and provide timely updates on project progress, milestones, and potential issues.

• Salary Pay Range is $104,515 - 130,600
The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we will consider your experience and other job-related factors.
• Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
• Office location: Baldwin Park, CA
• Frequent travel to leased sites and potential sites (20-50% of the time)
• Department needs may call for occasional overtime

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, Architectural Engineering or related field; preferred
• 5+ years' experience in Architectural Project Management; required
• 5+ years' experience designing retail or quick-service restaurants (with drive-thru); preferred
• CA registered Architect, preferred
• Intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and Bluebeam; required
• Strong proficiency using MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud and Smartsheet; preferred
• In-depth knowledge of architecture and building design (preferably in quick-service or restaurant design), state and local building codes; and ADA compliance is required
• Intermediate knowledge of structural, civil, and MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing); required
• Well-versed in construction methods, materials, and best practices
• Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated professionalism and accommodating manner, both on the phone and in personal contact
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible and highly adaptable to constant change based on business objectives
• Ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously, be self-directed, and possess excellent time management and organizational skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to perform tasks with accuracy and efficiency
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting/problem-solving skills
• Ability to work autonomously and independently, yet be an integral part of an overall team environment
• Strong moral compass: ability to operate with integrity and professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential information
• Valid CA driver's license required
