Auxiliary Programs & Campus Store Coordinator


Pace Academy is an independent college preparatory school in Atlanta, Ga., with an enrollment of 1,150 students in Pre-First through 12th grade. The Auxiliary Programs & Campus Store Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the campus store and providing essential administrative and logistical support to the Auxiliary Programs team. This position ensures an excellent customer experience for students, parents, and staff, while helping to execute seamless after-school, summer, and community programs. This is a part-time role up to 29 hours per week. Daily schedule is Tuesday – Friday from 8:15 am – 4:15 pm; the summer schedule in June and July may vary.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Campus Store Management (Primary Focus)

  • Daily Operations: Oversee the opening, closing, and daily transactions of the campus store. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming storefront.

  • Inventory & Merchandising: Manage stock levels, and assist with tracking inventory and placing orders.

  • Financial Tracking: Process point-of-sale (POS) transactions and collaborate with the business office on daily financial reports.

  • Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for store inquiries, assisting students, families, and faculty with purchases and spirit wear needs.


Auxiliary & Summer Programs Support

  • Communication: Assist with responding to emails and phone calls regarding store hours, inventory, after-school registration, and summer program details.

  • Data Entry: Assist with student registrations, roster management, and updating program databases.

  • General Operations: Provide ad-hoc administrative support to the auxiliary team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Prior experience in customer service and administrative support.

  • Proficiency with MacOS and Apple products and Google Workspace/Microsoft Office, including ability to maintain spreadsheet tracking.

  • Strong multitasking abilities; comfortable pivoting between campus store management and administrative program support.

  • Warm, welcoming demeanor with excellent communication skills suitable for interacting with children, parents, and school staff.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule within the 29-hour limit, occasionally adjusting hours to match peak summer camp weeks or special school events.


WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • May have to traverse campus during a variety of weather conditions

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone and keyboard
