Golf Shop Assistant
Job Description
Department: Golf Operations Hourly Rate: $8.00
Division: Golf Shop Supervisor: Head Golf Professional
Summary:
The Golf Shop Assistant will assist with the day-to-day management of golf operations including managing and tracking play, protecting and controlling assets, assisting with all merchandising functions, assisting with tournaments and providing other services to ensure an exceptional experience for members and guests of Traditions Club. The position will have a tremendous amount of interaction with members and guests and will be influential in promoting the club.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Opening and closing of the golf shop and associated accounting responsibilities. - Provide excellent customer service and assistance to members and their guests. - Ensure member and guest check-in for golf reservations. - Ensure member and guest check-in for lodging reservations. - Assist in the receipt, display, inventory, control, promotion and sales of merchandise. - Be informed on, and promote all club activities and services. - Assist with the handicap program. - Other duties as assigned.
