Student Operations Manager

This isn't the internship where you fetch coffee or sit in meetings nodding like you understand everything.
This is the one where you actually run things.

At Storage Scholars, students don't just help, they run campus operations. If you want an internship where you make decisions, lead teams, and own the outcome, this role is for you.

We're hiring driven college students to lead our 2026 moving and storage operations on IMG Academy and Tampa/ Sarasota Region area. You'll be trusted with real responsibility, supported by training and mentorship, and given the freedom to execute.

When campus gets busy, you'll take an active role in keeping operations running smoothly. You'll manage teams, solve problems as they come up, and make decisions that impact real students on your campus.

What You'll Do

Lead and manage student mover teams
Own daily operations during move-out and move-in
Work directly with fellow students as your customers
Load, unload, organize, and transport student belongings
Drive moving trucks and coordinate logistics
Manage inventory through our online system
Organize orders within our storage facilities
Coordinate with professional moving partners and regional staff
Represent Storage Scholars on campus and assist with outreach
Adapt quickly when plans change and problems arise

How the Year Works

Starting in March
Self-paced virtual training
Bi-weekly remote check-ins with your Campus Team Manager

End of Spring Semester
Transition into a fully on-campus leadership role
Oversee and lead move-out operations

Summer
No requirement to stay on campus
Option to step away for other jobs or plans
Optional opportunities to work with Storage Scholars on campus or in your hometown

Fall Return
Come back to campus early
Lead move-in operations and wrap up the season

Compensation

$200 training bonus
$50 intern referral bonus
$25 customer referral bonus
Commission-based pay for every item picked up and delivered
All tips paid directly to managers and movers
