• Summary
The Storage Manager is responsible for financial P&L management of storage projects from RFQ through final invoice, maintaining and developing key customer accounts
• Roles and Responsibilities
  • Foster an environment of team work, compliance and continual improvement
  • Adhere to the Company's objectives, i.e. Safety, Quality, Environmental and Information Security
  • Ensure compliance with company & department standard operating procedures
  • Work closely with sales team to identify customer opportunities and manage the development of commercial proposals
  • Provide commercial and project management support during the inquiry to billing phases of customers equipment to be stored at MCO-I
  • Plan, schedule and coordinate inspection work scope with clients
  • Create and prepare work scope execution job books to include routers, drawings, IRF forms and balance records
  • Plan, schedule and coordinate customer visits to witness inspection work scope
  • Review job book and collaborate with the engineering department for job release
  • Prepare job reports for customer
  • Acknowledge receipt of inquiry
  • Initiate the customer setup process
  • Perform margin workup
  • Acknowledge receipt of orders
  • Ensure that all project and commercial documents are organized and stored in the designated location

  • Provides leadership on all operations & development work
  • Develop and achieve annual SMART goals for self and direct reports, as approved by manager
  • Conduct performance reviews for all direct reports on defined frequency
  • Ensures commercial & execution practices comply with business goals and safety requirements
  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards
  • Attend weekly production meetings as required
  • Identify opportunities for training to further develop team members
  • Perform monthly closing efforts as required by accounting
  • Assist controller and account managers with collection process as needed
  • Responsible for cost controlling and performance analysis of projects
  • Responsible for all storage commercial functions, including but not limited to:

  • Assist with monthly project margin reviews using WIP report prepared by controller
  • Closely monitor storage capacity and plan
  • Assist in annual budget creation for the storage business
  • Assist in financial reporting (booking, sales, gross profit, cash flow)
  • Manage storage execution teams
  • Responsible for the coordination with FS PM's and storage clerks for accurate recordkeeping of items entering storage for accurate cost / revenue tracking.
  • Responsible for accurate recordkeeping of kit boxes going into storage and corresponding kit box inventory lists
  • Manage and report department KPI's on a monthly basis
  • Responsible for managing and maintaining storage tracker to have complete visibility of space availability while accurately tracking customer equipment
  • Continuously analyze process to determine opportunities for improvement aimed at increasing efficiency and profit
  • Attend relevant training and continuing education courses as approved by manager
  • Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned
  • Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
