Job description

Self-Storage Facility Manager — West Argyle Storage (Argyle, TX)

A U-Haul Neighborhood Storage Affiliate

West Argyle Storage, a U-Haul affiliated storage facility, is looking for a dependable, customer-focused facility manager to run day-to-day operations at our Argyle, TX property.


Responsibilities

  • Handle customer inquiries, rentals, and account management (in person, phone, email)
  • Manage gate access, unit assignments, and lien/auction processes for delinquent accounts
  • Perform light facility upkeep: grounds, signage, gate/fence maintenance, cleanliness
  • Monitor security cameras and report any issues promptly
  • Handle billing and collections via U-Haul/WebSelfStorage management software
  • Assist with U-Haul truck/trailer rental transactions and equipment check-in/out (if applicable)
  • Ensure compliance with local ordinances and lease terms


Requirements

  • Reliable, self-motivated, comfortable working independently
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency (billing software, email)
  • Ability to do light physical work (grounds upkeep, moving gates/locks, etc.)
  • Prior property management, storage, or customer service experience a plus
  • Must pass a background check
