They are seeking an experienced Data Center Storage Engineer to provide technical oversight of hardware and software systems, ensuring system security and managing storage area networks to support their client's global missions.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical oversight of hardware and software systems, with a focus on storage area network administration.
• Provide professional service within the parameters specified in the site's service level agreement and/or that meet or exceed the customer requirements.
• Ensure system security is compliant with customer policy including patching and auditing.
• Implement and maintain network standards and guidelines.
• Monitor system utilization including data storage management, performance metrics and service levels.
• Ensure reliable backup and recovery of necessary data.
• Develop and maintain automated environments including reporting, event notifications and actions, software updates and service packs.
• Report on capacity and proactively plan for additional storage.
