JOB Posting

 

JOB TITLE: Dry Storage Associate

DEPARTMENT: Dry Storage

REPORTS TO: Dockmaster or General Manager

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Dry Storage Associate is responsible for delivering a superior experience to all of our guests. He/ She along with the Dry Storage Team will schedule vessels for retrieval, storage, and launch. They will also keep the area clean, safe, and well maintained. When they are not working in dry storage, they could be asked to fill in as a dockhand.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Spotting Forklift Operators in dry storage
  2. Cleaning vessels when removed from dry storage
  1. Provides the highest level of customer and guest services, expedites any and all requests from vessels including transport of patrons and baggage to and from dockside, delivery of provisions and packages
  1. Carries out routine cleaning duties that meet established quality standards for all marina related operations; ensures the recognized standards are maintained and that quality, and delivery commitments are met
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  1. Some knowledge of marina operations or willingness to be trained in them
  2. Proven track record or innate ability to interface with customers positively and successfully
  3. Exhibited ability to quickly and efficiently adapt to change as needed
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to thirty (30) pounds
  2. Must be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in instances of emergency
  1. Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally
  2. Must be able to work flexible hours based on the needs of the property to include weekends and holidays as needed.
