Overview of position:
We are looking for a Platform Engineer/Architect, SME to work in Indianapolis, IN.
An active Top Secret security clearance and a United States Citizenship is required to be considered for this position.
Responsibilities
  • Provide senior-level platform engineering support for DFAS CCE SIPRNet classified enclave
  • Process CCE priority Tier 3 DFASNow support tickets achieving 95% worked-by-priority compliance
  • Support CCE Change Control Board (CCB) with 95% on-time inputs
  • Conduct Critical Design Reviews (CDR) and Technical Review Boards (TRB) achieving 95% on-time delivery
  • Engineer, implement, and document new IT solutions for CCE infrastructure
  • Incorporate, document, test, and validate functionality of CCE changes achieving 99% protocol compliance
  • Produce and maintain lessons learned documentation achieving 100% documentation compliance
  • Support CCE storage architecture design, capacity planning, and hardware/software lifecycle management
  • Provide Tier III support for SIPRNet infrastructure issues

Experience/Skills:
  • 10+ years enterprise systems architecture experience
  • Expert-level Windows Server administration (AZ801-802 certification)
  • Expert-level security architecture (CISSP certification)
  • Experience with SIPRNet classified network environments
  • Proficiency in: SQL, SCOM, MECM, Virtualization (VMware/Nutanix), Directory Services
  • Experience with Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), Containerization
  • Knowledge of Microsoft and Linux enterprise technologies
  • Experience with storage architecture and capacity planning
  • Demonstrated CCE change control and documentation experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Azure Solutions Architect certification
  • VMware VCP or equivalent virtualization certification
  • Experience with DFAS financial systems infrastructure
  • Prior SIPRNet system administration experience
  • Experience with DoD data center consolidation/optimization
  • Knowledge of DISA STIGs and security hardening
  • Storage administration certifications (NetApp, EMC, Pure Storage)

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

Certifications:
  • Microsoft Azure AZ-801 & AZ-802
  • CISSP or equivalent

Clearance:
  • Active Top Secret security clearance is required.
  • Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check.
  • Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC'S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
