Installer / Future Lead Installer
$21-$35 per Hour + Overtime + Benefits

Ultimate Granite & Stone Surfaces is looking for skilled tradespeople who take pride in craftsmanship, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

We are not looking for someone who simply installs countertops.

We are looking for future leaders who can think critically, solve problems in the field, work as part of a team, and take ownership of creating a 5-star experience for every customer.

If you have experience in stone installation, that's great. If you come from finish carpentry, cabinet installation, remodeling, millwork, commercial construction, or another skilled trade and take pride in quality workmanship, we want to talk to you.

Position Summary

As an Installer for Ultimate Granite & Stone Surfaces, you will install luxury stone countertops and custom stonework for residential and commercial clients throughout the Pittsburgh region. You will work with a team to safely transport, set, and finish stone products while ensuring exceptional craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

This position offers a clear path for growth into a Lead Installer role for individuals who demonstrate strong leadership, accountability, and problem-solving abilities.

What You'll Do

• Install granite, quartz, quartzite, porcelain, and other custom stone surfaces
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and installation specifications
• Safely lift, carry, and set completed countertops and stone components
• Use hand tools, grinders, polishers, and installation equipment
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and develop field solutions
• Utilize our CRM system to review schedules and document completed work
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide professional communication and a 5-star customer experience
• Work collaboratively with teammates to complete projects efficiently and correctly

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in stone installation, finish carpentry, cabinet installation, remodeling, millwork, or a related skilled trade preferred
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials safely
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred
• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening
