Stone Countertop Installer

Company: Rumford Stone

Location: Bow, NH 03304 — In person, full-time

Compensation: $22 to $30 per hour, depending on experience (experienced installers can earn $28 to $30/hour)

Schedule: Monday – Friday; averages 47 hours/week (range 40–60), overtime available; year-round work

About the Role

We’re hiring a Stone Countertop Installer based out of our Bow, NH facility. This is a hands-on role for someone who values clean work, safe handling, and professional job site conduct. You’ll install quartz, granite, marble, porcelain, and other premium surfaces in homes and businesses across the region, with the trucks, tools, and equipment you need to do the job right.

What You’ll Do
  • Install stone and quartz countertops at residential and commercial job sites
  • Safely load, transport, and handle tops using proper stone handling equipment
  • Set, level, and secure tops with attention to detail and finish quality
  • Complete seam setting, caulking, and final adjustments for a clean, professional install
  • Communicate clearly with homeowners, site contacts, and teammates during installs
  • Troubleshoot minor field issues and keep the work moving without sacrificing quality
What Will Make You Successful
  • Open to all experience levels — from entry-level candidates with basic construction industry install experience to seasoned countertop installers
  • Prior countertop, cabinet, flooring, or general construction install experience is a plus, but not required — we’ll train the right person
  • Comfort working with hand tools, levels, and measuring tools; lasers are a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in clean, complete work
  • Safety mindset and good judgment when handling heavy materials
  • A valid driver’s license and a clean enough driving record to qualify for company vehicle coverage (typically 7 years with no major incidents)
  • Reliable transportation to the shop in Bow, NH
