Company Description The Product Source is a long-established cabinet and stone importer, fabricator, and installer serving the hospitality and multifamily industries. Core offerings include guestroom cabinets, stone and quartz tops, shower pans, shower walls, glass shower doors, and barn doors. The Product Source partners closely with property owners, developers, and contractors to deliver durable, attractive solutions that meet design and budget requirements. Team members join a business that values long-term relationships, industry expertise, and consistent customer service.

Role Description This contract, remote Field Sales Representative role focuses on driving new business and expanding existing accounts in the hospitality and multifamily sectors. Daily responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting virtual and on-site meetings with decision-makers, and presenting product offerings such as cabinets, stone and quartz surfaces, and shower systems. The Field Sales Representative will prepare and deliver proposals, coordinate pricing and terms, and follow up regularly to move opportunities through the sales pipeline. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams on project specifications, timelines, and installation requirements, while maintaining detailed records in CRM tools. Success in this role requires consistent outreach, market research, and relationship-building to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Proven field sales or business development experience, preferably in building materials, furnishings, or related construction products.
  • Strong relationship management, negotiation, and closing skills, with the ability to engage property owners, developers, and contractors.
  • Ability to understand product specifications, project requirements, and installation considerations, and communicate them clearly to customers.
  • Comfort with remote work, including use of CRM systems, video conferencing tools, and standard office software for proposals and reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with professional presentation abilities in both virtual and in-person settings.
  • Self-directed work style, strong time management, and ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of the hospitality or multifamily industry and regional market trends is highly beneficial.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
  • Relevant education or training in sales, business, or a related field is a plus.
