Position Summary
The Front Desk Agent will work under the direct supervision of Front Office leadership and is responsible for the daily operations of the front office management department. The agent will deliver an exceptional experience to every guest at our hotel.
Responsibilities
  • Greet all guests, monitor and answer phones, and respond to guest needs.
  • Utilize hotel systems to create and ensure seamless experiences for all guests.
  • Check guests into or out of the hotel, assigning rooms according to availability or special requests.
  • Coordinate guest experience with all hotel departments.
  • Maintain great communication and teamwork with Front Office team and other departments within the hotel.
  • Process payment and provides receipts to guests.
  • Answer questions about the property or the surrounding area attractions, may assist with local transportation, and creating or revising reservations.
  • Assist other departments including Concierge, PBX, Guest Relations, Room Reservations.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in Front Desk role in a luxury hotel
  • In-depth understanding of Forbes Travel Guide 5 Star and AAA 5 Diamond standards preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Demonstrate the ability to multi-task be detail oriented.
  • An operational knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
