Job Description:

The Stock Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the stores inventory and stock areas as per company standards and will support the Store Manager and/or Assistant Store Manager with the operational performance of the store. This includes but is not limited to the shipping and receiving of goods, minimizing stock loss across all stock locations, participating in the annual inventory, conducting regular cycle counts, maintaining organized records, ordering supplies, adhering to housekeeping standards, handling merchandise appropriately, processing Omnichannel orders and safeguarding company assets by following proper inventory control procedures.

The Stock Supervisor will be flexible to support the sales floor as needed, utilizing the POS system.

Tasks And Responsibilities:

  • Inspire and motivate the team in all BOH procedures.
  • Ensure that all shipping and receiving functions are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain an orderly, neat stock and receiving area as well as the general maintenance of the store.
  • Ensure the accurate processing of all shipments and transfers based on Company policies and procedures.
  • Process all Omnichannel orders within a decided timeframe.
  • Support the compliance of inventory, shipping and receiving practices with established Company policies and standards.
  • Communicate with the corporate operations team.
  • Demonstrate high levels of knowledge about our products both on the selling floor and BOH.
  • Be pro-active in using training tools provided Store Operations.
  • Responsible for opening and closing checklist.
  • Ensure full knowledge of cash desk procedures and processes.
  • Be aware of all security and health and safety issues and requirements of the store
  • As a key holder for the store, ensure that all emergency calls are responded to and dealt with accordingly.
  • Be attentive to details and cleanliness of the boutique.
  • Work with Management to manage maintenance within the store in a timely manner
  • Inventory control to include and not limited to delivery processing/ adjustments/ replenishment/transfers.
  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency when processing outbound deliveries, including but not limited to client orders, Omnichannel orders and store to store transfers.
  • Complete quarterly OPS checklists and share action plan and results with SM/ASM
  • Maintain a clean and organized stockroom.
  • Execute cycle counts.
  • Responsible for the yearly inventory result (shrink) including preparation and execution, in conjunction with the store management team.
  • Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping
  • Assist in completing price changes within the boutique.
  • Help solve problems and make informed decisions that affect the service, and productivity of the receiving area.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in store meetings and training seminars as necessary.
  • Any other tasks as assigned from time to time by any manager.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in luxury retail industry, management preferred.
  • Previous retail stock/shipping/receiving experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Active driver's license and vehicle strongly preferred.
  • Team player with a demonstrated ability to lead projects, tasks, etc.
  • Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Expertly groomed as appearance must be able to reflect our company and store.
  • Ability to handle receiving operations and manage stock levels effectively, including proper handling of merchandise.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to process information and merchandise through computer system.
  • Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job, including phone systems, inventory-control computer systems, and all other office equipment.
  • Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, and to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails heavy lifting, and perform all functions as set forth above.
