Job Summary:
  • We are seeking an experienced engineering professional to lead capital project design, planning, and execution. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable codes and standards while driving operational and technical excellence.

Job Duties:
  • Engineering Design & Planning: Develop preliminary designs, specifications, cost estimates, and feasibility studies. Establish design criteria, validate field conditions, and maintain as-built documentation.
  • Project Execution: Coordinate with vendors and contractors on layouts, utilities, installation schedules, and technical requirements. Review consultant deliverables and ensure design intent is met.
  • Project Development & Reporting: Lead pre-project studies, develop RFPs, evaluate proposals, and provide regular progress updates and technical reports to leadership.
  • Contract & Budget Management: Review bid packages, manage contracts, prepare budgets and project documentation, and ensure cost, scope, and schedule control throughout execution.
  • Leadership: Coach and develop team members while promoting a collaborative, high-performance work environment.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of engineering experience, including 2+ years in leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering design, project management, and construction planning.
  • Experience with engineering economics, contract administration, and national codes/standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
