Job description

Work Schedule:

100% FTE, 8:00am-4:30pm, you will work at UW Health Swedish American Hospital 1401 E State St.

Qualifications
  • High School Education or equivalent. Required
Work Experience
  • Experience in managing, planning, and tracking budgets, with an emphasis on ensuring accurate allocation and monitoring of instrument related expenses. Preferred
  • 5 plus years of Sterile Processing and/or Surgical Technologist experience. Required
Licenses & Certifications
  • Central Service Tech Certification and Instrument Specialist Certification must be obtained and is required within 18 months of employment. Required.
  • Current Central Service Tech Certification (International Association of Health Care Central Service Materials Management - IAHCCSMM or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution CBSPD). Preferred.
  • Current Instrument Specialist Certification (Certified Instrument Specialist - CIS Certification through IAHCCSMM or SPD Surgical Instrument Specialist - C.S.I.S Certification through CBSPD). Preferred.
