Factory Manager – Lawn & Ground Care Equipment Manufacturing
Location: Rocky Mount, NC

We are seeking a hands-on Factory Manager to lead our steel manufacturing operations for lawn and ground care equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily factory operations, ensuring production efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Manage, train, and support production teams.
  • Operate and supervise use of manufacturing equipment including laser cutters, press brakes, saw cutters, and other machinery common to steel fabrication.
  • Read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings, ensuring accurate production.
  • Work with engineering teams to review and, when needed, contribute to technical drawings.
  • Implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce downtime.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related) preferred.
  • Proven experience in steel manufacturing environments.
  • Strong blueprint reading/drawing skills with attention to technical accuracy.
  • Practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
