Job description

Day to day this role includes:

  • Using a caliper and tape measure to create precise measurement which are used in the rewind process.
  • Using a series of hand tools to complete the stacking of core steel.
  • Cutting transformer lids
  • Basic data entry into labor system (MOM)
  • Practicing safe behaviors by wearing proper protective equipment when handling core steel.
  • May operate overhead crane or forklift as necessary.
  • Must be willing and able to complete repetitive processes and stand for 8-10 hours a day.
  • Cross train on set up, and teardown as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Mechanical and electrical knowledge.
  • Wiring experience is a plus.
  • Cooperative attitude towards all internal and external customers.
  • Help team members resolve questions.
  • A dependable and strong work ethic, work safely.
  • Professional language and conduct at all times.
  • Technical, mechanical, or electrical experience/college is a plus.
