What is steel casting?

Steel casting is a manufacturing process in which liquid steel is poured into a mold to create specific shapes and components once it solidifies. This technique is used to produce parts that might be difficult or uneconomical to make using other methods, such as forging or machining. Steel casting is commonly used in industries like construction, automotive, mining, and heavy machinery, where strong and durable parts are required. The process allows for customization of shapes and can accommodate a wide variety of alloy compositions.
