Job description

CAM Property Services seeks entrepreneurial individuals to execute our Steam Cleaning & Sweep growth strategy and steam cleaning services to the commercial properties and property management companies and facilities throughout Southern California. Join the CAM Property Services Team as a part of our Steam Cleaning staff!
General Responsibilities:
  • Clean up any loose debris, pull hoses.
  • Sweep storefront sidewalks and remove any hazardous, loose debris.
  • Place sandbags at all doorways to prevent water from seeping inside stores and place cones to warn pedestrians.
  • Appropriately use soap, water and chemicals for cleaning and stain removal.
  • Steam clean sidewalk, trash receptacles and trash chutes.
  • Remove all trash bins from the trash enclosure and pick up any loose debris on the ground and place in dumpster.
  • Responsible for the operation of power tools such as a steam cleaning gun and spinner.
  • Spray and steam machine to remove dirt, grease, and grime.
  • Determine the right chemical solution for cleaning.
  • Keep stock of cleaning chemicals and cleaning equipment.
  • Moving furniture as necessary for cleaning purposes.
  • Take care of company vehicle, notify management of mechanical issues or services needed.

Work Schedule + Benefits:
  • Full-time, hourly (non-exempt)
  • Hours
    • Steam: 6:00 pm start
    • Sweepers: 7:00 am start
  • Travel (Driving) is required throughout Southern California
  • Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits

Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

  • Cleanup experience a plus
  • Work experience in steam cleaning (preferred)
  • Experience using a steam cleaning gun and/or pressure washer
  • Proven track record of dependability and attention to detail
  • Strong commitment to achieve company cleanliness standards
  • Valid California driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Physical requirement: Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
