Position Overview
Stealth Solutions is seeking an experienced hands-on Senior MuleSoft Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise integration solutions supporting large-scale Salesforce Public Sector Solutions implementations for Federal customers.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring active participation in solution architecture, MuleSoft platform configuration, enterprise integrations, cloud deployments, troubleshooting, and mentoring development teams. The successful candidate will define the enterprise integration strategy while helping build secure, scalable, and highly available integration solutions connecting Salesforce with enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and external partner systems.
Candidates must reside within the Washington, DC, Maryland, or Virginia (DMV) metropolitan area to support occasional onsite meetings.
Key Responsibilities
·       Lead the enterprise integration architecture supporting Salesforce Public Sector Solutions and multiple internal, external, commercial, and Federal systems.
·       Design secure, scalable, and reusable API-led integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
·       Serve as a hands-on technical leader by designing, developing, configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting complex MuleSoft integrations.
·       Configure, administer, and manage MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Runtime Manager, API Manager, Exchange, Flex Gateway, and Anypoint Monitoring.
·       Design, deploy, configure, and manage MuleSoft runtime environments within AWS cloud infrastructure.
·       Define enterprise API standards, governance, versioning, reusable integration patterns, and lifecycle management.
·       Design real-time, event-driven, asynchronous, and batch integration solutions.
·       Configure API security, authentication, authorization, monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational policies.
·       Design enterprise data models, transformation logic, ETL processes, and data migration strategies.
·       Collaborate with cloud infrastructure and DevSecOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
·       Ensure compliance with Federal security standards, Zero Trust principles, and enterprise data governance requirements.
·       Lead performance tuning, resiliency planning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support.
·       Review technical designs, API specifications, interface documentation, and architecture artifacts.
Mentor developers and provide technical leadership throughout the Agile software development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
·       U.S. Citizenship required.
·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
·       8+ years of enterprise experience.
·       5+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, configuring, deploying, and administering MuleSoft Anypoint Platform solutions.
·       3+ years integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications.
·       Hands-on experience configuring and managing MuleSoft Runtime Manager, API Manager, Exchange, Flex Gateway, Anypoint Monitoring, and DataWeave.
·       Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, and managing MuleSoft runtime environments within AWS cloud infrastructure.
·       Strong experience with REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, RAML, OpenAPI, ETL, OAuth 2.0, JWT, API security, and enterprise integration patterns.
·       Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, or similar DevSecOps tools.
·       Experience with event-driven architecture, asynchronous messaging, and enterprise integration best practices.
·       Experience working in Agile software development environments.
·       Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
·       MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect, Platform Architect, or Developer certification.
·       Salesforce Integration Architecture Designer certification.
·       Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions.
·       Experience integrating MuleSoft with AWS services including Amazon S3, Amazon SQS, Amazon SNS, AWS Lambda, Amazon RDS, AWS IAM, AWS Secrets Manager, and Amazon CloudWatch.
·       Experience supporting secure Federal cloud environments and enterprise modernization initiatives.
·       Experience with enterprise monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk or Dynatrace.
