A Teaching Assistant is a McGill Graduate Student employed to assist the Course Supervisor as a Teaching Assistant in a classroom environment. Teaching Assistant Positions are governed by the Collective Agreement between McGill University and the Association of Graduate Students Employed at McGill (AGSEM).

Position Summary:
This requisition is for one position, at 75 hours, in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology. Effective dates of appointment are August 30 to December 19, 2026. Course dates are August 31 to December 4, 2026.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a current McGill PhD student with background in the subject matter of the course

  • Must have completed EDPE 684 or equivalent

  • Knowledge and Experience of the statistical package SPSS and MPlus

  • Familiarity and Experience using statistics in research, particularly correlation and ANOVA

  • myCourses experience may be required

  • Knowledge in French may be required
