Job description

Job Summary:
Omega Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Python Developer for a long-term project. The role involves working with AWS EMR, Python, and Pyspark to develop and rewrite an analysis application focused on statistical number crunching.
Responsibilities:
• Looking for a Senior Python developer for a long term project.
• Must have experience with AWS EMR, Python, and Pyspark.
• Initially the project will be fairly low level basic algebraic analysis moving towards much more complex ones.
• Hands on experience building statistical models and building production Python application is preferred.
• This is for a rewrite of analysis application that does a lot of statistical number crunching.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience with AWS EMR
• Experience with Python
• Experience with Pyspark
Preferred:
• Any AWS certifications
• Educational experience
• Experience with statistical programming
• Experience with analytics
• Experience with data science
• Hands on experience building statistical models
• Building production Python application
