QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN
Monday - Friday
2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
$17.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Perform routine testing and measurements using quality control equipment and tools.
  • Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality documentation.
  • Identify quality concerns, defects, and non-conforming materials; report findings to appropriate personnel.
  • Support investigations into quality issues and assist with corrective actions.
  • Work closely with production and other departments to improve product quality and manufacturing processes.
  • Calibrate, maintain, and verify testing and inspection equipment.
  • Assist with quality audits and compliance activities.
  • Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of quality inspection processes and quality management systems.
  • Experience using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and testing equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when documenting results.
  • Comfortable reading work instructions, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and root cause analysis is a plus.
  • Understanding of workplace safety practices in a manufacturing setting.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.
