Job description

Description:Stationery Consultant — Join Our Creative Team!

Do you love beautiful paper, thoughtful details, and helping people celebrate life’s biggest moments? Bering’s is looking for a friendly, organized, and creative Stationery Consultant to join our Stationery & Party Goods team at our Westheimer location.

In this role, you’ll help customers find the perfect cards, gifts, party goods, and personalized stationery—while also guiding them through invitations for weddings, showers, birthdays, and other special occasions. Every day brings a new celebration to help create!

What You’ll Do
  • Welcome customers and provide a warm, personalized shopping experience
  • Consult with customers on invitations, stationery, party goods, etiquette, timing, and style
  • Help coordinate custom and semi-custom invitation orders, from wording and layout to proofs and delivery
  • Build relationships through thoughtful recommendations and follow-up
  • Keep our stationery department inspiring, organized, and beautifully presented
  • Support sales, special orders, seasonal displays, and department events

Requirements:You May Be a Great Fit If You…
  • Have a creative eye and enjoy working with color, paper, wording, and design
  • Love details and can keep multiple orders, deadlines, and customer requests organized
  • Enjoy connecting with people and making occasions feel special
  • Have retail, customer service, sales, stationery, wedding, event, or design experience
  • Are comfortable learning new systems and tools

Invitation-design or custom stationery experience is a plus—but it is not required. We are happy to teach someone with curiosity, a great attitude, strong attention to detail, and enthusiasm for learning the art of invitations.

Position Details
  • Full-time or part-time hourly position
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, is needed
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds with or without accommodation

If you’re ready to combine creativity, customer service, and celebration in a role where no two days are exactly alike, we’d love to meet you. Apply today and help our customers make every occasion memorable
