Job description

For over 80 years, Martin Bros. has been proud to be the family-owned foodservice and supply solution for restaurants, healthcare facilities, schools and convenience stores throughout the upper Midwest. And we continue to grow! We are looking for motivated individuals to work in our Cedar Falls Distribution Center.

As an order selector, your primary responsibility would be to pick cases of product that will be loaded on our trucks and delivered to our customers (schools, nursing homes and restaurants). The hours for this position are Sunday - Thursday from 5:00 pm - approximately 1:30 am with overtime as required. Responsibilities include operating an electric pallet jack, scanning cases of product for selection, building and wrapping pallets for customer delivery, plus other general warehouse duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • Ability to operate pallet jack, forklift, and/or reach truck 
  • Must be able to lift 40-100 lbs frequently
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift/carry for entire shift
  • Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
