Job description

Job Overview:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to preventative maintenance and the ability to diagnose and correct mechanical and electrical issues in a critical environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine inspections of pumps, valves, and associated piping systems
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment status for tracking and regulatory compliance purposes.
  • Respond promptly to reports of broken or faulty equipment, prioritizing repairs based on operational needs.
  • Ensure that all water treatment equipment is clean and properly lubricated to maintain optimal func-tionality
  • Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs
  • Adhere to all company, local, state, and federal safety and quality regulations including proper use of protective gear.
  • Report accidents, safety violations, or other concerns.
  • Assist in planning and improving processes and product quality.
  • Complete required training.
  • Ability to work collaboratively to improve processes and product quality in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Be willing to work flexible shifts, including day, night, and weekend shifts, during peak seasons.
  • Assist with special projects and other tasks as assigned.

Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods; climb, crouch, operate tools, and wear safety gear.
  • Ability to weld and pipe fit for repairs
  • Proficiency in diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques.

Education and Experience:
