Job description

The Ohio Attorney General's Office is seeking an experienced candidate for the Facilities Manager - Leased Facilities position in the General Services Section. The position will report to 30 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio daily. 

Duties for this position include but are not limited to:

- Oversees and directs all facility operations for all Attorney General leased facilities, including leasing, office space allocation, and maintenance and repair issues;

- Coordinates and tracks state maintenance inspections;

- Reviews bids and proposals;

- Monitors scheduled improvements;

- Sets up and maintains database to track costs, due dates, vendor lists, and bids and invoices; 

- Maintains accurate records and files related to facilities;

- Serves as liaison between General Services and property managers of leased facilities; and

- Other duties as assigned.

Experience with OhioBuys and state purchasing;

Experience with management of contracts and lease agreements;

Knowledge of space management and office space software;

Experience with small to mid-sized state funded construction projects

Previous supervisory experience
