Jim Myers State Farm Agency is seeking motivated, licensed insurance sales professionals who are ready to grow their careers while helping individuals, families, and businesses protect what matters most.

If you're an energetic producer who enjoys building relationships, closing sales, and providing exceptional customer service, we'd love to talk with you.

This position is primarily in-office in Columbia, MD, allowing you to collaborate with an experienced team and build lasting customer relationships. Remote may be considered for an exceptional candidate with a proven track record.

What You'll Do
  • Develop new business through referrals, networking, and agency marketing opportunities.
  • Build lasting relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Conduct needs-based conversations and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
  • Sell Property & Casualty insurance while identifying opportunities for Life, Health, and Financial Services products.
  • Follow up on leads and maintain an active sales pipeline.
  • Cross-sell and round out household accounts.
  • Provide outstanding customer service before, during, and after the sale.
  • Work with team members to achieve agency sales goals.
Qualifications
  • Active Maryland Property & Casualty License (Required)
  • Life & Health License preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Insurance sales experience preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated and competitive with a desire to exceed goals
  • Organized, dependable, and professional
  • Passion for helping customers protect their families, homes, autos, and businesses
