Part-TimeCommunications & Brand Positioning
Dignotion is seeking a proactive and organized Public Relations & Events Coordinator to elevate our public profile and support strategic visibility for our clients and partners. In this role, you'll lead outreach efforts to secure media placements, speaking opportunities, and industry recognition-while maintaining the infrastructure that keeps our PR and event activities running smoothly.
You'll work across earned media, industry events, and thought leadership opportunities, helping position Dignotion and our partners as experts in performance marketing, digital innovation, and high-growth sectors.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage PR outreach to industry publications, digital media, and event organizers
  • Identify and pursue speaking opportunities at key conferences and panels
  • Maintain and update press materials, pitch decks, media kits, and speaker bios
  • Build and manage a structured database of media contacts and publishing calendars
  • Conduct outreach (cold calls/emails) to introduce Dignotion as a subject-matter expert
  • Research relevant journalists and media outlets aligned with our focus areas
  • Track active PR campaigns and support reporting on placements and coverage
  • Update our WordPress-based website with press mentions, event news, and announcements
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to align messaging and content

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; confident speaking on behalf of a brand
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in outreach and relationship-building
  • Familiarity with media relations, press cycles, and event planning fundamentals
  • Experience updating WordPress websites or using simple CMS tools
  • Based in the U.S. and available to work within U.S. business hours
Bonus Points If You Have:
  • Prior experience working in public relations, communications, or media
  • Existing relationships with journalists or event organizers in tech, marketing, or business
  • Exposure to B2B tech, performance marketing, or startup PR environments
