Job description

Position: International Manufacturing Manager
Location: Mayfield, OH
Type: Full-time | On-site
Job Summary:
Drive global manufacturing performance improvement through equipment, process engineering, and product engineering collaboration. Essential Functions:
  • Manufacturing Process Leadership -
    • Lead technical process improvement and troubleshooting support on metal and plastic fabrication processes.
    • Increase productivity as measured by process KPIs.
    • Refine and drive alignment on manufacturing process standards (GOS)
    • Coach manufacturing engineering teams for development.
  • Production Equipment Strategy -
    • Manage fleet of manufacturing equipment and drive improvement plans.
    • Maintain and update the global proprietary machine design drawing catalog.
    • Lead global machine maintenance strategy with systems to improve asset availability.
    • Review and support new capital equipment business case development.
  • Product Engineering Collaboration -
    • Provide recommendations for product development engineers (Design for Manufacturability).
  • Operations support and technical expertise -
    • Introduce new advances in manufacturing equipment and tooling.
    • Assess overall operations performance and drive improvement actions.

Non-Essential Functions:
  • Maintains knowledge of shop floor operations, product mix and characteristics, and general business processing requirements.
  • Accommodate occasional requests for support outside of essential functions listed above as required to support business objectives.

Education:
  • B.S. Degree in Engineering.

Required Experience:
  • Minimum of ten years of experience in manufacturing process engineering.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing technology and processing methods.
  • Minimum of five years of project management experience.
  • Experience in at least 2 of the following skillsets: Stamping, Forging, CNC Machining, Casting, or Plastic Injection Molding.

Computer Skills:
  • Ability to use a computer and applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Maintain familiarity with manufacturing, inventory control, and costing software applications.

Travel Requirements:
  • 30% (ability to travel internationally to all of our locations is required)
