Job description

JOB OVERVIEW: A Forklift Operator works with shipping/receiving & production teams to facilitate the efficient movement of inventory within our facilities. Forklift drivers must prioritize safety by prioritizing proper lifting and operating techniques and adhering to warehouse regulations. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform daily stage setup. Perform daily and weekly forklift and pallet wrapper inspection(s). Verify BOL’s. Load/Unload inbound and outbound shipments. Transport inventory between departments to ensure smooth production operations with minimal downtime. Maintain First in First out inventory process. Complete all necessary forms such as Receiving Forms. Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area. Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately. Perform other duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED preferred. 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Forklift Certification. Ability to read and interpret various measurement instruments. Ability to work in various temperature-controlled environments. Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to abide by all required Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background). .
