If so, we have exciting opportunities for skilled Laborers to join our dynamic team! As part of our team, you will play a vital role in building the infrastructure for tomorrow.

We are looking for highly motivated and talented individuals to join our dynamic team as Laborers 1 & 2. DDS specializes in the construction of complex commercial Heavy Civil site projects. This role involves working as a team player performing a wide range of physically demanding tasks related to the installation of storm, sewer, and water pipe, as well as other critical underground utilities. You'll be utilizing an array of hand and power tools for the completion of assigned duties and responsibilities. This position will work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.

We seek both entry level and experienced individuals. Pay for this position will be dependent on qualifications outlined below.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute a variety of tasks with a strong emphasis on SAFETY and efficiency at the construction site.

Dig and backfill trenches and compact earth to prepare for vertical construction.

Ensure the proper maintenance, cleanliness, and safe storage of company equipment and materials.

Strictly adhere to instructions and guidelines provided by the Foreman/Site Superintendent.

Qualifications: Level 1 Pay Range: $21-$25/hr

Required:

  • Prior experience working in a physically demanding capacity.

  • Possess a Valid Drivers License.

  • Must be able to lift at least 100 lbs. and pass a post offer, pre-employment physical assessment test.

  • Flexibility to work variable hours inclusive of weekends, as necessary.

Qualifications: Level 2 Pay Range: $26-$32/hr

Required:

  • Meet or exceed all requirements for Grade Level 1 and

  • Minimum of 2 years experience with underground utility set up and installation.

  • Prior hands-on experience with and a clear understanding of survey grade stakes with proposed elevations.

  • Knowledge and experience with different soil types and installation of shoring devices where applicable.

Preferred: Level 1 and 2

High School Diploma or Vocational training in a closely related field.

OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 Certifications.

Proven mechanical aptitude.

Proficiency in operating backhoes or similar types of equipment as needed.

Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends.
